Beam Coin’s 3rd Birthday Included an NFT Competition Which Ended January 6 2022
Although the Beam NFT competition ended January 6, the links and information on how to enter provide interesting details about the Beam ecosystem. I am also adding a video call YouTube video that took place right before the competition ended, which talks about the new BeamX DAO, and their plans for 2022.

Beam, the maximum confidentiality private-by-default blockchain turns 3! It’s been an exhilarating journey for the Beam Team developing the best-in-class privacy protocols; hard forking the Beam blockchain to improve efficiency, scale and enable smart contracts; developing BeamX DeFi dApps and progressively decentralizing the Beam Foundation, handing over governance to the community-run Beam DAO.
Key Details:
- The competition is set to launch on 30th December. Artists can submit collections by the deadline of Thursday, the 30th at 2 PM (GMT). The NFTs will be minted on that day.
- Voting will be conducted on Twitter in 2 rounds. Voting for Round 1 will begin on 30 December and end on January 3rd.
- Nine artists will advance from the 1st round into Round 2, from which three artists will be selected as winners.
- Voting for Round 2 commences on January 3rd and ends on January 6th. All the scores will be tallied and the winning collections will be announced.

Voting Rules
- During Voting Round 1, winners will be selected by the number of likes on Twitter, at the end of the round, likes will be counted and 9 artists will proceed to Round 2.
- For Voting Round 1, Artists may upload 1 NFT pic as their submission to Twitter and add the hashtag #BEAM_NFT_COMPETITON & tag @Beamprivacy to be eligible for the competition.
- For Voting Round 2, @beamprivacy will upload the last 9 NFTs. The top three winners will be determined by the highest number of Retweets & Comments
Submitting NFT Ground Rules
- We expect a Beam birthday theme (Beam Turns 3!)
- Artists can submit 1 image to NFT@Beam.mw
- Image format should be JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) only
- The image file name must correspond exactly to the name of the piece
- The maximum size of the image should not exceed 50 KB
- The contract public key (on Desktop wallet can be found on DAPP section → NFT Gallery, on the Web Wallet can be found here or here
- Artist name (can be a pseudonym)
- Email titles should be: Beam Turns 3 — NFT Competition
- Voting will be conducted via Twitter.
- Artist set the price for each image once it’s minted (100% of revenue goes to the artist)
